age inclusivity

For my personal and professional project on BA Fashion Imaging and Illustration at the University of the Arts London I explored ageism and and its presence within society. Society is dominated by images that idealise youth. Often, imagery that can be seen is negative or a false and unattainable representation of ageing. My illustrations aim to offer a candid representation of older women that recognises their value and beauty. It is my hope that older women can feel empowered by these images.
